From the Brahmatal summit, trekkers can witness spectacular views of major Himalayan peaks like Mt. Chaukhambha, Neelkanth, and the Panchachuli group of peaks, making the summit climb truly rewarding. The trek begins from Lohajung, a small village located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The trail passes through dense forests, remote villages, open meadows, and frozen lakes, ultimately leading to the scenic Brahmatal Lake with towering peaks surrounding it.
An evening winter walk in the open meadows near the lake is an unforgettable experience. According to local legends, Lord Brahma meditated at Brahmatal Lake, which adds a spiritual significance to this beautiful destination.
